Directions to Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) from downtown Ho Chi Minh City:

  • Take Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Road and follow this route until it becomes Nguyen Van Troi Road
  • Follow Nguyen Van Troi Road to the airport, following the signs to the terminal building

Directions to Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) from east Ho Chi Minh City:

  • Take Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Road and follow the road until it becomes Nguyen Van Troi Road
  • Follow Nguyen Van Troi Road to the airport until you reach the terminal building. The route is clearly signposted

Directions to Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) from south Ho Chi Minh City:

  • Take Dai Lo Ly Thuang Kiet Road north to Nguyen Van Troi Road
  • Turn left and follow Nguyen Van Troi Road to the airport, following the signs to the terminal building

Directions to Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) from the west Ho Chi Minh City:

  • Take Nguyen Van Troi Road to the airport exit
  • Follow the signs to the terminal building

Traffic on Ho Chi Minh City's roads is very unpredictable and it can take anything from 20 minutes to over an hour to reach Tan Son Nhat Airport from downtown. Therefore, leave plenty of time before your check-in time to make sure you arrive in plenty of time for your flight.
